In addition to boasting beautiful grounds within a stunning landscape, De La Salle is also home to crown green bowls. The green is smaller than some others in Sheffield, but is beautifully maintained. We are a social bowling club and do not participate in any local leagues. However, we make sure that there is plenty happening in terms of friendly fixtures against neighbouring clubs, internal competitions and knockout tournaments. Bowls is a gentle sport, also a great way to enjoy the fresh air in beautiful surroundings, meet people and forge new friendships. We also enjoy a brew with a slice of cake.
